A Review of Mosie Baby- At Home Insemination Kit

I wanted to do a review of this product not because of the results which are actually pretty remarkable, but because of how this product made me feel.

Yes, you read that right, I am giving a great review for a product that made me feel connected to my spouse again, that took some of the stress away while living this Infertility Life.

My husband and I have been on this infertility journey for over 6 years in total, we were able to have one child by IUI three years ago but we have been attempting to add to our family and the same avenue of reproductive help has not been working this time around.

My husband and I needed to take a break from the clinical side of Infertility but we did want to keep trying, so when I found Mosie Baby, it gave me a re-newed hope.

Mosie allows you to essentially do an At Home Insemination, Wait, What?! Yep, that’s what I said, I had never heard of such a thing before, like where was this product when we first started trying!

At Home Insemination Kit- What does that actually mean? . .

At- Home Insemination kit is collecting a sperm sample at home and then using a syringe to insert into your vagina and inject the sperm sample as close to your cervix as possible. This increases the chances that the all swimmers get to where they need to go!

How To . .

This is my own experience, so please do your own research first.

I like to lay in bed or on my couch, I have a pillow under my bottom, so Im in a titled position. I then get my sperm-filled syringe and use sperm safe lubricant (pre-seed, link below) to help gently insert the syringe into my vagina, somewhat like inserting a tampon. Lubricant can also help with having the right amount of mucus needed to protect the swimmers.

Now before this I do check my cervix while in this position to get an idea where I need to get my syringe angle-wise.

The syringe can only go so far , do not try to insert the syringe any further than the product recommends!

Ill hold the syringe in there for a couple seconds and then pull the syringe out, and I will sit in that titled up position for at least 30 minutes. And voilá, your done!

What Is Mosie Baby . .

Mosie is not your fertility clinic IUI or Intrauterine Insemination.

Mosie Baby is a Vaginal – at home insemination kit and most importantly the syringes provided cannot, I repeat CANNOT go past your cervix. That would be dangerous, non-sterile and can leave you open to infection.

Now with that said, this at home insemination kit is a great option if you would like to take a break from the fertility clinic and try something in the privacy of your own home.

The syringes have a rounded smooth appearance, and they glide in just as easily, you can use Pre- Seed Fertility Friendly lubricant “-sperm safe lubrication in conjunction with this product for easier application or just foreplay like crazy haha.

More Relaxed . .

Why do I love this product? Well it’s because you get to do insemination at home! I know it’s not as technical than in the clinic but for us, it was the fact we got to feel normal, less exposed, and we got to enjoy ourselves again.

We were able to get some foreplay in and have an emotional connection again, yes he obviously has to finish in the cup and yes you have to draw up the “sample” into the syringe and then inject it inside yourself which does have a little turkey basking feel to it but honestly we laughed about that part.

I mean I got to lay in my own bed, in a way more comfortable position and if I did lay upside (not saying I did – okay yes I am lol) at least it was in my own home (nobody there would judge me lol)! It was just a nice change of pace in this very much rollercoaster of a journey.

Now, this is my disclaimer, I am not trying to push you into anything you’re not comfortable with and I do not recommend making any purchase without doing your own research first. I just wish I would have someone tell me other options I could be trying along the way.

At Home Insemination can sound bizarre but having to be in a froggy position in my own home versus in a cold sterile room is truly worth the awkwardness!

Every woman is different, along with her body, so although this product has some amazing success stories, that does not mean you will have the same result, this is just another option when trying to conceive.
