Hello there! Thank you for coming to my blog about Infertility, Motherhood and Being A Military Spouse!
Motherhood after Infertility, Being an Army wife and life in general, I have always used a journal to hold all my feelings, thoughts and experiences but I feel like I could really help myself and others by sharing all of these in a more public forum.
Being able to vent is so therapeutic and being able to connect with others that may be going through a similar situation is just pure gold for your self-esteem and over all self- comfort!
You know when you’ve had a shitty day and you pick up the phone and call “your person” and just word vomit your entire day. And after some ugly crying, you feel so much better, and the weight of the day has just been lifted.
Well writing in this blog is another outlet to do that, its allowing me to let out all of my frustrations and hardships.
I am in my 30’s, I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 23, two months before he left for boot camp for the Army!
I also started my infertility journey without evening know it because at first not getting pregnant was okay I mean I was only 23, I was still young and my husband was gone a lot but then another year went by, and another year and thats when I realized this was not going to happen the way we planned.
After our second IUI attempt we did get pregnant, I was 26. All of my post express the emotional hardships that come with being on this journey.
Now we are three years in trying to add to our family, this time we knew we would need outside help, so we did know how to get the ball rolling a little quicker but like everything in the infertility world, nothing is easy.
My journey has been long, but it has also taught me a lot about myself, my relationship with my husband and our child.
That is why I would like to pay it forward and see if I can be of some comfort to others going through this or just make others know they are not alone, that there is someone who understands exactly what they are going through!
I’ve been an Army wife for over 8 years now so that lifestyle alone has brought so many adventures, some amazing, some not so much.
My husband is a Blackhawk pilot which is pretty darn cool and to say that I am proud of him is an understatement.
That being said this life can be a hard one to navigate through especially when he leaves for months at a time, full deployments, infertility scheduling issues with flight schedules, me working, and just life lol.
I feel like I can really reach a lot of people with these experiences and I just can’t wait to see where this new venture will take me!! Join me, get to know me through my blog and let’s have a conversation!!
