Femometer . . .
I am writing this review because when you’re dealing with infertility you just want something reliable and easy to use.
Time is vital when trying to conceive so having to try a hand full of tracking apps can be stressful in itself. So, I wanted to try and make that part a little easier.
Im a sucker for reviews because I hate spending money on something that ends up being a dud and I have to start my search all over again so I spend a lot of time in the review section.
So, I am going to try and make this a very beneficial review with pictures because I HATE reviews without pictures lol I mean how can I make a decision about something when I can’t see it!!
I hope I give you what you’re looking for and if I do not, please leave me a comment below on what you would like to know so I can add it in!
Onto the Review. . .
I actually really LOVE this App; I have used other Free cycle tracking apps but Femometer offers some extra options that I think really help track when the best time to conceive will be. I have been using this App for over 3 months now and it really is a game changer in the Ovulation Tracking World!

** Femometer does have a Free version but if you would like the full access- which in opinion is a must!- it is $10/month**
** Also, if you do not want to get pregnant just yet, this App will help you with that too!!
I’ve attached some pictures of my own cycle to show you the different categories of the App.
- Safe Day(s)
- Fertile day(s)
- Ovulation
- Period
It will tell you days to have intercourse and tell you what day is the most optimal to conceive but it will also tell you when your safe to have intercourse if you are trying to avoid getting pregnant.
To Make Your Results Accurate . . .
There are a few different tools that I Highly suggest using to make this app as accurate as possible;
- Track your body temp– Every morning- at or close to the same time before getting out of bed
- Cervical mucus– Consistency, Height of cervix, Softness (this is a great way to get to know your body and you will start to learn when you’re getting to the next phase of your cycle)
- LH surge– I usually do one check right after my period ends to get a base line and then once the App tells you to start testing, then you need to do it every 4 hours! Not just once and move on, do NOT make that mistake! Once you test and get your “High” result continue to test every 4 hours to make sure you do not miss your “Peak”. Then keep testing until your results go back down!
You can make the App send you notifications to tell you when to test, how much easier can it get!
Click link below to get the LH Strips I use, they work very well with this App and you can buy them in bulk and they come with pregnancy testing strips!
For the most accurate results you need to track all of the above for at least one full cycle.
This again will allow the app to collect enough data to give you the most accurate predictions and conception advice.
These results will be combined and put into your “Cycle Interpretation” section of the app, where you will find all of these charted for you in a nice grid form.
Then you would head over to the “Conception Guidance” tab and that’s where it will tell you what to do next!
Super easy to use and very interactive to make each prediction as accurate as possible!
Thermometers . . .
You can either use your own thermometer or you can buy Femometers thermometer, you can either manually put in your temp results into the app or you can get their blue tooth version that syncs with the app.
Now since this a review so I am going to be honest, I have one of their Bluetooth friendly thermometers and honestly I do tend to just use my store bought one because sometimes their Bluetooth version does not sync right, it can take a few extra minutes to get it to work.
When you are taking your body temperature its best to have a thermometer you don’t have to mess with too much because minutes matter in how your temp can change with movement.
Femometer does have a digital thermometer so you could go with that option too.
I hope this was a helpful review and I hope it will help you in your Trying To Conceive Journey!
