Suffering in Silence . . .
I wrote this for my husband because I think a lot of times our spouses are suffering or dealing with this struggle in silence.
For my husband, he has always kept his feelings quiet but I’ve been with him for over 17 years so I’ve learned his cues and I know during this journey he’s done it for my benefit.
Yes, the women do get poked and prodded a lot more but their part is just as exposing and uncomfortable.
When they have to give their sample it’s not like it’s in a private manner because your in a waiting room at a Fertility Clinic and so, when they call his name, everyone may not turn and look but everyone knows they are going into the “everyone knows what your doing” room.
It’s not like they have all day to provide their instrumental piece because it’s a scheduled timeframe so when it’s game time, they have to show up and deliver. As the wifey all we get to do is sit and wait, we can’t “help” because well that would be unprofessional, right ? Lol.
Yes, it’s a safe place because every other man in the waiting room is probably about to do the same thing so there’s no judgement but with that thought, think about how forking weird it would be to do your business on the spot and in a room that hundreds of other men do the same thing before and after you!
. . . . . . . Our Men Deserve A Damn Award. . . .
This is why I will forever be in his debt and I am so grateful that he is mine and that he is the one walking beside me through all of this.

Dear Loving, Supportive, and Sexy Husband . . .
THANK YOU! . . . I know this journey is just as hard for you but yet, you let me fall apart while you hold it all together so that you can be my rock! Every Tear, Every Hormonal Bitch Fit, Every Complete Breakdown, you are there to help me pick up the pieces.
I know you’re struggling too, not being able to completely understand all my feelings and emotions but catering to each and every one of them with love and support.
Only you can help pull myself out of the dark hole I find myself after each failed cycle, you cradle me with hugs and kisses and tell me “we will get through this together” , these simple words hug my heart and let me know that even though it’s not okay in this moment, things will get better because I have you as my partner.
I am beyond grateful for your part in this, to many outsiders, your part in this journey seems “easy” or “not that bad” but I understand your own struggle. Providing an instrumental piece of the puzzle is not easy, comfortable or even pleasant.
I watch you go to into “Everyone knows What He’s Doing” room and you do your part without any hesitation or backlash.
When you do come out of the “Make sure you label your sample correctly” room, we both smile and sometimes laugh bc it helps us accept the situation we find ourselves and laughter can really help during this journey!
I love you more than you will ever know and I promise I will be your rock if do you need to let go and let all your feelings and emotions out.
No matter what happens we will come out of this stronger because I refuse to let this journey destroy our love for one another.
Truly and Forever Grateful!
This is beautiful! Communication is so important, and the little things make all the difference. They are going through this journey with you and it is important to appreciate them.
This is just plain beautiful! Journeys are meant to go on with someone special and it seems like you have special!
